Graduated in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2002). Doctoral thesis in 2006, entitled: Computational study of [2.2]cyclophanes, by FFCLRP-USP (2006). Postdoctoral training (10/2006 - 10/2007) at the Philipps University of Marburg, Department of Chemistry, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gernot Frenking. Second postdoctoral training at IQ-USP, Sao Paulo, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ana Maria da Costa Ferreira and in collaboration with Profs. Dr. Antonia Tavares do Amaral. He has experience in chemistry, with emphasis on computational chemistry, working mainly on the following topics Electronic structure and chemical bonding in organic, inorganic and organometallic compounds, including topics such as natural orbitals of bonding, energy decay analysis, topology of electronic structure, aromaticity, reactivity and conformational analysis. He performed his third postdoctoral training (11/2013 - 11/2014) at the Philipps-University of Marburg, Department of Chemistry, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gernot Frenking, in addition to being Associate Professor IV at the Department of Chemistry, Federal University of Santa Catarina, UFSC.
