Rosária Ono

After finishing her undergraduated course in Architecture and Urban Design at University of São Paulo (1987), she got her master degree in Engineering from Nagoya University in Japan (1991) and her doctor degree at University of São Paulo (1997). Fire Researcher of the Fire Safety Laboratory at Technological Research Institute of São Paulo State - IPT (1991-2003). Full professor of University of São Paulo since 2015, where she was Head of Department of Technology (2011-2015). She was Deputy Director of Museu Paulista, University of São Paulo (2019-2020) and Director of Museu Paulista (2020-2024). She has expertise in Architecture and Urbanism, developing research on the following subjects: Fire safety in Buildings, Building Performance Evaluation and Post-Occupancy Evaluation.
