Full Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) Diadema Campus. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a focus on Technology from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos USP (1995) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from the same institution (2001). Completed postdoctoral research at the Institute of Materials of Nantes, France (2002-2003), and at the Polytechnic School of USP (2003-2006). Teaches undergraduate courses in general chemistry, physical chemistry, macromolecules, and polymers. Is affiliated with the graduate programs in Chemistry Science and Technology for Sustainability (CTS) and Engineering and Materials Science (ECM). Has received several awards, including the Unifesp Research Excellence Award 2024, and organized the XXII SBPMat Meeting (B-MRS) in 2024, in Santos. Maintains international collaborations with researchers from France, Canada, and Italy. Has experience in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Polymers, focusing primarily on the development and applications of conjugated polymers and sustainable materials, as well as the preparation, modification, and processing of new materials.
