I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the State University of Campinas (1998), a Postgraduate degree in Medical Sciences (2001-2006), and a Postdoctoral degree (2006-2009) from the same Institution. Since 2009, I have been Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - USP, where I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomolecular Sciences. I teach Biochemistry to undergraduate Pharmacy students, supervise research projects, and I am full advisor in the Post-Graduate Program in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto. My expertise lies in Biochemistry and Metabolism, with a primary focus on mitochondrial metabolism and oxidative stress in conditions such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and obesity, also adopting Drodophila Melanogaster as a study model.
