Débora Tavares de Resende e Silva

Associated professor at the Federal University Fronteira Sul (UFFS) since 2014, she was Director of Health Care for Employees at UFFS (2022-2023). She was Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (PPGCB / UFFS) (2020-2022). She has worked as a supervisor at PPGCB/UFFS since 2020. She has a post-doctorate in Immunology, from USP/SP (2013), a PhD in Sciences - General Pathology, from UFTM (2012) and a Masters in Sciences - General Pathology, from UFTM (2008 ). Graduated in Physiotherapy from UNIUBE (2001) and specialist in Neurological Physiotherapy from UNIFRAN (2002) and in Public Health from IBRA (2021). She is currently Leader of the Interdisciplinary Health and Care Study and Research Group (GEPISC-UFFS / SC). She was a member of the research advisory committee (2014-2017) at Campus Chapecó / UFFS and representative of Campus Chapecó at CEUA at UFFS (2015-2017). He has experience in the area of Physiotherapy, as well as in the basic area of health related to General Pathological Processes, Experimental Pathology and Immunology, working mainly on topics related to Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (diabetes, oncology, SAH and CKD) and Communicable Diseases (Covid-19 and HIV/AIDS) associated with interventions such as Physical Training and Integrative and Complementary Practices, researching mainly on Inflammation, Oxidative Stress and the Purinergic System. She also works as a reviewer for several national and international journals and was Coordinator of PET Saúde / MS in several editions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
