Completed an academic exchange program at Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain (FebJul/2012) during undergraduate studies, and a sandwich doctorate at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal (Oct/2018Sep/2019). Conducted postdoctoral research in Operations Research (OR) linked to the PPGPO at UNIFESP/ITA (Apr/2020Dec/2021). Served as a professor at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Petrópolis-RJ campus (Dec/2021Jun/2024). Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Production Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Sorocaba-SP campus. He is also a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Production Engineering (PPGEP) at the School of Metallurgical and Industrial Engineering in Volta Redonda-RJ, UFF.
