Professor at the São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC) at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a Ph.D. and a masters degree in Chemistry from the same institution. She has extensive experience in research and teaching in the fields of Electrochemistry and Renewable Energy. She participates in nationally and internationally renowned projects funded by agencies such as CAPES, CNPq and FAPESP, focusing on electrocatalysis studies and the development of fuel cells. Her academic achievements include 56 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, an h-index of 27 on Google Scholar, and over 2,800 citations. She has supervised 15 completed theses and dissertations, including masters, doctoral, and postdoctoral research, and is co-author of book chapters and holds two patents. Currently, she is involved in studies on low- and high-temperature fuel cells and reactions such as ammonia, ethanol, and urea oxidation, as well as nitrogen and nitrate reduction. She also collaborates on international projects aimed at sustainable hydrogen production.
