Birthplace: Brazil

BsC in Physics from the Federal University of Goiás (1990), a Master's Degree in Space Sciences from the National Institute for Space Research (1993), and a PhD in Space Engineering and Technology from the National Institute for Space Research (1998). He holds Habilitation (Livre-Docente) in Orbital Dynamics from the Júlio de Mesquita Filho São Paulo State University (2009). He did a postdoctoral internship at UNESP-Guaratinguetá (1999-2002), FAPESP Young Researcher (2002-2005), and a postdoctoral internship with the Nonlinear Dynamics Group at the University of Potsdam, Germany, with a FAPESP scholarship (8/2007 to 7/2008). He is currently Associate Professor 3 of the Department of Mathematics, Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Physics and Astronomy at UNESP, Guaratinguetá campus, from 06/2013 to 05/2017 and from 06/2021 to 05/2025, Vice-Head of the Department of Mathematics, from 02/2020 to 09/2021 and from 02/2022 to 10/2024, and Head of the Department from 10/2021 to 01/2022. He is the Ad Hoc Coordinator of the Laboratory of Complex Systems (LabComplex). He has experience in Space Engineering and Dynamic Astronomy, with an emphasis on Trajectories and Orbits, working mainly on the following themes: Space Mining, Gravitational Capture, Formation of Satellites of Planets.
