He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1976), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1981), a Ph. BNR, Canada (1995). He is currently an associate professor at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the area of Electrical Engineering, in recent years he has been dedicated to projects in the area of Digital Inclusion of the Disabled, working on the following topics: Development of application programs aimed at the inclusion of the visually impaired in the areas of mathematics, physics, chemistry, design and music; Development of tactile resources for object recognition; Recognition of patterns aimed at identifying banknotes, etc.; Development of teaching methods for the visually and hearing impaired from literacy to higher education.
