Birthplace: Brazil

I am a biologist, specialized in Ecology (MSc) and Zoology (PhD). My main interest is to work for the conservation of neotropical biomes, focusing on generating knowledge about the evolution, ecology and population dynamics of vertebrates in the forests of South America (mainly the Atlantic Forest and the Amazon), prioritizing the integration of traditional peoples and resident populations of these biomes in the research activities that I develop. I am specialist in analyzing ecological and evolutionary data, as well as interpreting and translating results into accessible language and in specialized publications (peer-reviewed). I find it easy to work in a team, as well as coordinating multidisciplinary projects. I am proficient in R and Shell (Linux) programming languages, where I develop various activities such as: database management, basic and multivariate statistics, ecological niche modeling, GIS, quantitative genetic analysis, phylogenies and graphics production. I speak, read and understand Portuguese (native), English (advanced) and Spanish (advanced). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
