She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (1997), a master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (2001), and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (2006), with a research project developed at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. Currently, she is a researcher at the Albert Einstein Institute for Education and Research, a collaborating professor in the graduate program in Health Sciences at the Albert Einstein School of Health Sciences, and a faculty member in the Interdepartmental Biotechnology Program at USP/IPT/Butantan.
