Completed a specialization program in Immunopathology and Molecular Biology of Parasitic Diseases at the Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (20082009). Worked as a research technician at the Laboratory of Dermatology and Immunodeficiencies Research, Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP), contributing to the project entitled "Phase II Study of a Therapeutic HIV Vaccine Using Autologous Dendritic Cells Primed with Inactivated Autologous Virus" (20092013). Holds a Doctorate in Sciences from the Department of Dermatology at the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) (2013 2017), with a doctoral thesis entitled "Characterization of Dendritic Cells Used in a Phase I/II Clinical Trial of a Therapeutic HIV Vaccine," under the supervision of Dr. Telma Miyuki Oshiro. Worked as a laboratory technician at the Retrovirology Laboratory, Paulista School of Medicine, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), within the scope of the FAPESP Thematic Project entitled "Multi-Interventional Study Exploring HIV-1 Residual Replication: A Step Towards HIV-1 Eradication and Sterilizing Cure," participating in the production and quality control of the vaccine product (dendritic cells) (JuneDecember 2017). Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Dermatology and Immunodeficiencies, Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, with the project entitled "Production and Characterization of Polarizing aDC1 Dendritic Cells for an Anti-HIV Immunotherapy Clinical Protocol," a subproject of the FAPESP Thematic Project "Therapeutic Vaccine Based on aDC1 Dendritic Cells and Inactivated Autologous Virus Aimed at Viral Control in HIV-1-Infected Individuals Undergoing Antiretroviral Therapy Interruption," under the supervision of Prof. Alberto José da Silva Duarte (20182023). Currently holds a Technical Training Fellowship (TT-5), funded as part of the budget of the aforementioned FAPESP Thematic Project. Possesses expertise in viral culture (HIV), expansion and chemical inactivation of viral particles; cell culture and advanced cell therapy, with emphasis on dendritic cell-based immunotherapy; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); and flow cytometry.
