Sandro Rogério de Sousa

Graduated in Chemistry from UNESP (1996), PhD in Biotechnology from USP/IPT/I. BUTANTAN (2002) and Post-Doctorates (CNPq 2003-2004 and 2006-2007, Fapesp 2004-2006) from the Institute of Chemistry at UNESP in the area of #8203;#8203;Biochemistry and Physical Chemistry. He was a contributing member of UNESP until 2007, provided technology consultancy services for companies until 2010 and is currently a Professor/Researcher at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), Campus Matão - SP, he was Coordinator of the Biofuels Technology Course (2011- 2013 and 2017-2023). Coordinator of the Latu Sensu Postgraduate Course "Alcohol and Sugar: from raw materials to production and quality analysis" (2013-2016). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Technologies in the energy sector, with an emphasis on Yeast, Biofuels and biofuel by-products, working mainly on the following topics: Yeast, Bioethanol, biodiesel, xylose, xylitol and biofuels.
