Professor Cabral is an Associate Professor of Industrial Enzymology at School Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirao Preto - University of Sao Paulo. He received his bachelor?s degree in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University in 1999, Master degree in Molecular Biophysical and a Doctorate in Molecular Biophysical from São Paulo State University in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He carried out a short post-doctoral fellowship at São Paulo State University in 2006 - 2007. Professor Cabral established an independent scientific career at School Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirao Preto - University of Sao Paulo, where he supervises a laboratory of Industrial Enzymes. In February 2017, Dr. Cabral was promoted to Associate Professor in the discipline of Industrial Enzymology. His lab works on the production, purification and biochemical characterization of proteases. His lab works in the study of proteomics of the filamentous fungi and molecular biology (cloning and expression of enzymes). Professor Cabral has published over 35 articles.
