Associate Professor of the School of Education at the University of São Paulo, and awarded with the Productivity Research Scholarship by the Brazilian National Scientific Committee since 2009. Got her PhD in Psychology from the School of Psychology of the University of Barcelona (Spain) (2000), and a BA in Psychology from the Catholic University of Campinas (1993). She was a visiting professor at the Stanford University School of Education in the years of 2016 and 2008; and at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) between 2006 and 2010. Since 2006 is the editor of a book collection named "Points and counterpoints", published by Summus Editorial, with 11 books already published. Her research interests are in the relationship between affective states and cognition in the human psychological functioning, its impact in moral education and Psychology; and possible applications in supporting the construction of youth purpose.
