Bachelor in Physiotherapy from the University of São Paulo (1980), Master in Morphofunctional Sciences from the Department of Anatomy of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (1993). PhD in Rehabilitation from the Department of Orthopedics at the Federal University of São Paulo, UNIFESP (1999), Associate Professor (Livre Docente) at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (since 2011). The topics of his postgraduate work were focused on ergonomics and electrotherapy, these being his main areas of scientific research and professional activity. Coordinates the Therapeutic Resources and Ergonomics Laboratory (LARTE). She is the editor of the magazine Fisioterapia e Pesquisa and works as a reviewer for periodicals in the area and an ad hoc consultant for funding agencies in Brazil. He held the position of Head of the Department of Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP) from 2015 to 2017. He supervised 21 master's degrees, 12 doctorates and 1 post-doctorate and has 2 post-doctorates and 1 master's degree in progress.
