She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (1998), a master's degree (2001) and a PhD (2006) in Plant Biology from the State University of Campinas, with experience in Botany focused on Taxonomy and Anatomy of Phanerogams with studies in anatomy and histochemistry of secretory structures. She carried out postdoctoral studies in the Laboratory of Genomics and Expression of UNICAMP between 2006 and 2010, in the area of Applied Botany, performing the structural evaluation of symptoms related to pathogen-host interaction in cacao disease. She joined the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) in 2011 as a CNPq Fellow dedicated to projects in the Management and Articulation group of the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory (LNBio). She was hired in 2012 as Research Assistant and promoted in 2013 the Planning and Evaluation Coordinator, working in activities related to the strategic and budgetary planning of LNBio. She began to act as Administrative Coordinator in the CNPEM Central Administration (2017), with the objective of associating the knowledge acquired during the scientific experience to the coordination of administrative demands of the National Laboratories.
