Beatriz de Mello Beisiegel

Graduated in Biological Sciences Bachelor's degree from the University of São Paulo (1989), master's degree in Psychology (Ethology) from the University of São Paulo (1993), PhD in Psychology (Ethology) from the University of São Paulo (1999) and post-doctorate in Ecology from University of São Paulo (2004). She is currently an environmental analyst at ICMBio/NGI Iperó - Capão Bonito National Forest. Coordinates the project "Jaguars from the Vale do Ribeira and Alto Paranapanema region", and has experience in the areas of management of Conservation Units, Ecology, Animal Behavior and assessment of the conservation status of fauna, working mainly with carnivorous mammals in the Atlantic Forest , mainly with the species Panthera onca, Puma concolor, Nasua nasua, Cerdocyon thous and Speothos venaticus.
