He is a Full Professor and "Livre-Docente" at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Baixada Santista Campus, CNPq Level 2 Research Productivity Scholarship. He has a degree in physiotherapy from Londrina State University (UEL/2000) and Computer Engineering from the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP/2020). At the Botucatu Medical School of the São Paulo State University (UNESP), he completed professional development in general physiotherapy (2003), specialization in the Interaction between Nutrition, Physical Exercise and Medicine in Health Promotion (2003), and Master's (2005) and Doctorate (2006) in Pathophysiology in Clinical Medicine. Since 2011, he has been coordinating the specialization course in Clinical Exercise Physiology at UNIFESP, Baixada Santista Campus. He was awarded a research grant under the Young Investigators modality from FAPESP in 2013. Additionally, in 2016, he was selected as a Scholar in the postdoctoral training program "Bernard Lown Scholars in Cardiovascular Health Program" at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Finally, in 2019, he obtained the title of "Livre-Docente" in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the Department of Human Movement Sciences at UNIFESP.
