Cibele Cardoso de Castro

Undergraduate in Biological Sciences (1993), master's degree (1997) and doctorate (2001) in Plant Biology at the State University of Campinas. Postdoctoral studies at ESALQ/USP (2006) and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison-USA (2016). From January 2006 to December 2019, worked as a professor at the Garanhuns Academic Unit (UAG) of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). Currently works as a full professor at the Federal University of Agreste de Pernambuco (UFAPE), created through the emancipation of UAG/UFRPE.Permanent professor to the Graduate Program in Biodiversity at UFRPE-Recife, and to the Graduate Program in Agricultural Production at UFAPE. Has experience in the areas of Botany and Ecology, with an emphasis on plant reproduction, especially in crop pollination. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
