Alexei Essiptchouk

Graduated in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering (specialization in Projects Development and Equipment Testing) and master's degree in Plasma Dynamics by Mechanics Institute (Leningrad, Russia, 1991), doctorate in physics from the State University of Campinas (2001), post-doctorates in the metallurgy plasma (University of Campinas, 2004) and Aerospace Engineering (Department of Physics Institute of Aeronautical Technology, 2007). He has experience in physics of thermal plasmas and electric discharges in gases at atmospheric pressure acting on plasma technologies on the following topics: arc, plasma torches, phenomena in arc spots, heat transfer, chemical processes in the plasma and diagnostic thermal plasma in plasma-assisted processes technologies. Have interested in technological applications of plasma, focusing on gasification and combustion assisted by plasma, plasma spray and plasma technology for application in the energy and environment.
