Graduate in Food Engineering from Mauá school Engineering (1996), master's in Biotechnology at Institute for Technological Research - IPT (2000) and ph.d. in Biotechnology from Polytechnic School of Sao Paulo University (2005). Has experience in Food Engineering, acting on the following subjects: fermentation, saccharomyces cerevisiae, formulation end stimulation of fermentation process, hydrolysis, life cycle analysis, use of airlift reactor, biodegradable plastic and ethanol.
