Pedro Fiaschi is a Biological Sciences undergraduate from Universidade de São Paulo (1999), with a Botany master's degree from Universidade de São Paulo (2002) and an Integrative Life Sciences Ph.d. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (2009). Since 2002 he is involved on floristic projects at southern Bahia in collaboration with CEPEC herbarium and UESC (Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz). He has been working as adjunct professor at UFSC (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina) since October 2012, where he is part of the Graduate Program in Biology of Fungi, Algae and Plants (UFSC) since September 2013. Pedro has experience in Plant Systematics, Atlantic Forest floristics and Plant biogeography, with an expertise on the systematics of Araliaceae and Oxalidaceae. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
