Sílvia Helena Cardoso

Doctorate and master's degree in psychobiology from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at USP, and postdoctoral fellow in the same area from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also held a post-doctorate in Health Informatics and teacher training at the Biomedical Informatics Center of the State University of Campinas, where she was a researcher in the field of electronic publications and information technology applied to neuroscience and 3D reconstruction of medical images, between 1996 and 2003, as well as volunteer assistant professor in the Discipline of Medical Informatics at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNICAMP, and founder and director of the Center for Distance Education in Health (CEAD-S). She was also a researcher and deputy director of the e * Pub Group of Electronic Publications on Medicine, Health and Biology at NIB / UNICAMP. In this area, she was the founder and editor-in-chief of the On-Line Magazine, Brain & Mind.. She was Co-Founder, Director of Education and Vice-President of the Edumed Institute of Education in Medicine and Health (2000-2010), an institution of teaching, research and development in the area of education in health using modern communication technologies ( 2000 - 2010). Founder and Director of the TeleNeurosciences Center, a distance education center in Neurosciences (2000-2005) and Founding Director of the Instituto da Felicidade (Happiness Institute), a sector of the TeleNeurosciences Center that taught and guided people from Brazil and different parts of the world about positive emotions through the use of new technologies and how to apply them in educational and corporate institutions (2000-2005). In the area of innovation and entrepreneurship in health information and communication technologies, she is a founding partner and administrative director of Webpraxis Internacional, a company offering courses and consultancy in the area of Health Information (2003-present).
