Has Bachelor's degree in Agroindustrial Production Engineering (1997), Master's degree in Production Engineering (2000) and PhD in Production Engineering (2005, with a doctoral internship at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena - UPCT/Spain), by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). He is currently Associate Professor 4 at the Dept. of Production Engineering at the UFSCar's Sorocaba 'campus'. Has experience in Production Engineering, working mainly with quality engineering, quality coordination in production chains, product and assistive technology development, engineering education. He integrates the Nucleus of Research and Development of Assistive Technology (NTA) at the UFSCar's Sorocaba 'campus', the Quality Studies and Research Group (GEPEQ) at the UFSCar's main 'campus' and the network of researchers of the Research Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), administered by the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago.
