Rodrigo Archangelo

Graduated in History from FFLCH-USP (2003), with a degree from FE-USP (2003). Master (2007) and doctor (2015) in Social History by FFLCH-USP. Professor PEB II (História) at the State Public Schools of SP (2005-2010). Researcher on the History of Brazil and Brazilian Cinema, with an emphasis on the study of regional and national political cultures observed from the references between History and manifestations of the audiovisual, with regard to production, circulation, funds and collections, especially the national projected press (newsreels). Scholarship from the São Paulo State Department of Education - SEESP (2005-2007). Scholarship from the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation - FAPESP (2002-2003; 2011-2015). Researcher of the Integrated Project Public Archive of the State of São Paulo and University of São Paulo - PROIN (2004-2007). Researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies on Image and History - NEIIM, at the Laboratory for Studies on Ethnicity, Racism and Discrimination at USP - LEER (2010-2015). Researcher and worker at the Cinemateca Brasileira for periods between 2001 and 2020, where he participated in the systematization of film and non-film documents in the collection; promoted image research of audiovisual materials in its collections; practical research tools and methodologies for audiovisual cataloging; trained audiovisual researchers and catalogers; participated in the management of the Brazilian Filmography database; collaborated in the organization of events, institutional projects and institutional initiatives for the preservation and access of its collection (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
