Marcelo Dídimo has a degree (1997) in IT from the University of Fortaleza, a Master's degree (2001) and a PhD (2007) in Multimedia / Cinema Area from the State University of Campinas, where he researched O Cangaço no Cinema Brasileiro, a book he wrote that was published in 2010. In 2011, he filmed the short documentary JUS, which was shown in more than 20 festivals and won more than 10 awards. Between 2013 and 2014, he completed a Post-Doctoral Internship at Columbia University, New York, where he researched the influences and connections between Western and Cangaço. He is currently Associate Professor IV of the Undergraduate Course in Cinema and Audiovisual and the Postgraduate Program in Communication at the Institute of Culture and Art at the Federal University of Ceará. At graduation, he teaches the following subjects: Scriptwriting Workshop, Brazilian Cinema, Cinematographic Genres, Preparation of Research Projects, among others. Coordinates the Cineclube of the Cinema and Audiovisual Course since 2010, and LABORO (Audiovisual Project and Script Development Laboratory) since 2018. In postgraduate studies, he teaches the subjects: Brazilian Audiovisual, Audiovisual Genres, Documentary, Research Project Seminar , among others. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Arts, with an emphasis on Cinema, working mainly on the following topics: cinema, Brazilian cinema, cinematographic analysis, direction and script.
