Bianca Borsatto

Graduated in Biological Sciences (Licenciatura) from the University of São Paulo USP/Campus Ribeirão Preto (1992), Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo USP/Campus Ribeirão Preto (1993), Master's degree in Morphology (Genetics) from the Federal University of São Paulo/UNIFESP (1996) and a PhD in Morphology (Genetics) from the Federal University of São Paulo/UNIFESP (2000). Post Doctorate from the Federal University of São Paulo/UNIFESP. She is currently a professor at the Medical Course at the Federal University of Mato Grosso-UFMT. She served as Head of the Department of Basic Health Sciences for two terms, pro tempore Coordinator of the UFMT Medicine Course for 6 months (2015/2016), Director of the UFMT Faculty of Medicine since 2016. She has experience in the area of Genetics, with emphasis on Human and Medical Genetics, working mainly on the following topics: aging, telomeres, cytogenetics, Down syndrome, congenital anomalies, cancer and molecular biology.
