Licinius D. S. Alcantara received B.S. degrees in Data Processing Technology from the Center for Higher Education of the State of Pará (CESUPA), Belém, Brazil in 1995, and in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Belém, Brazil in 1998, M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from UFPA in 2000 and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos, Brazil in 2004. He is currently an Associate Professor IV at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on numerical modeling in Electromagnetic Theory and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). He is also interested in interdisciplinary issues involving the application of mathematical models in computational simulation. He has developed and participated in some research, dissemination and extension works in the area of #8203;#8203;photovoltaic systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
