Since 2005 she is an adjunct professor at the Bahia State University (UNEB), acting both in the undergraduate degree, in the degree course in History, and in the Postgraduate Program in Regional and Local History (academic masters), which was under her coordination. between 2008 and 2009. She was the general coordinator of the Research and Extension Center (Nupe) - UNEB-Campus XIV (2007). He is leader of the Research Group on Portuguese America. Dedicated to the study of the History of Portuguese America, from the perspective of social history, acting mainly in the areas of cultural history, religion and religiosity, focusing on the history of New Christians, Marranos and Iberian Inquisition; modern history and history of Bahia. She is the author of the book "Beyond Exclusion: Coexistence between New Christians and Old Christians in 18th Century Bahia", published in 2016 by UNEB Publishing House; has published articles on the topic Inquisition, some available on the academy.edu website (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
