Birthplace: Brazil

I received my Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Campinas State University (UNICAMP) from Faculdade de Engenharia Mecânica in 1997. In 2000, I was granted my Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering in the field of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering by the same University. My PhD was carried out in the Chiba Institute of Technology (Japan), having it finished in 2007. My academic expertise includes Material and Metallurgical Engineering, specifically related to nanofiber-reinforced metal matrix composites (Al and Mg alloys) production processes, rheocasting processes and processing of semi-solid Magnesium alloy. My professional experience includes roles as Research and Development Project Manager in the field of materials and tribology properties improvement as well as advanced machining and forging processes applied to automotive components. I work, currently, as a under-graduation professor of "Heat Treatments and Chemical Processing of Metals" and "Polymer Science" at the Faculty of Technology (FATEC) in São José dos Campos. Additionally, I act currently as technologist in the Intellectual Property Section (SPI) the Innovation Management Coordination in the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (CGI/DCTA), which is responsible for the Brazilian Air Force Innovation System (SINAER), including management of the protection and maintenance of the industrial property generated in the Brazilian Air Force Command (COMAER), as well as to support the licensing of these technologies to the Brazilian Industry.
