Graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, masters and doctorate in Pharmacy (Clinical Analysis) from the University of São Paulo and postdoctoral from the University of Oxford (UK). She worked as a Scientific Researcher at the Adolfo Lutz Institute (1987 to July, 1990) and as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Clinical and Toxicological Analysis, University of São Paulo (July 1999 to November 2018). most important are micronutrient deficiencies and overloads (iron, vitamin B12 and folate) .She has expertise in hematology, population nutrition, biostatistics, nutrigenetics and pharmacogenetics. She is advisor in the Graduate Programs in Clinical Analysis of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo, the Graduate Program of the Discipline of Hematology and Hemotherapy, Department of Clinical and Experimental Oncology, Federal University of São Paulo, and visiting advisor. Pharmaceutical Sciences Program of FACFAN / UFMS. She is currently a visiting professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food and Nutrition (FACFAN) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) since September 1, 2019.
