BS in Agronomy from São Paulo State University (1983), MS degree in Biological Sciences: Entomology from University of São Paulo (1987) and Ph.D in Entomology from University of Nebraska- Lincoln, NE, USA (1995). I am currently a full professor at School of Agricultural and Veterinarian Sciences, São Paulo State University, Jaboticabal, SP, Brazil, where I am instructor in Agronomy and Biological Sciences undergraduate programs; advise graduate students in the Agricultural Entomology Graduate Program. I am also adviser in the Graduate Program in Entomology at College of Philosophy, Sciences and Arts, University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, SP as well as adjunct professor at Department of Entomology, University of Nebraska- Lincoln. I have experience in Agronomy focusing on agricultural entomology. The research interests include natural factors of insect population regulation and insect-plant interactions aiming at enhancing biological control and integrated pest management programs in agroecosystems.
