Geneticist biologist. Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 1998), Master in Genetics at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 2002) and PhD in Genetics at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - 2007). He is currently Laboratory Manager and Biosafety and Radioprotection Manager of the Laboratory of Genomics and BioEnergy, Department of Genetics, Evolution, Microbiology and Immunology, Institute of Biology, UNICAMP. In the company "Laboratorios TASQA" he worked as a Biologist responsible for the implementation of the Biosafety system, team training and management of the Laboratory of Microbiology and Molecular Biology from 2000 to 2003. He was the founder and Coordinator of the "Laboratory Exactgene" where in the period of From 2000 to 2013, he worked on the establishment of strategies applied to biosafety, criminalistics, forensic genetics and molecular diagnostics. During this period, he developed several molecular markers for the genotyping of viruses and microorganisms for the medical and food industry. and ethanol production. In 2003, he was approved for the position of Manager Biologist of the Laboratory of Genomics and BioEnergy of UNICAMP, where he works in the team as manager in the research fronts, Manager of Biosafety and Radioprotection, as well as giving classes / lectures / training. He has directed several works in the area of Medical Genetics in studies of molecular markers in the diagnosis of genetic and infectious diseases. Member of the biosafety committee of the Institute of Biology / UNICAMP since 2016. He has been awarded four awards, including: IV SBU / SP Scientific Update Award in 1998 receiving third place; Unicamp Inventors Award 2012; first place at the Institute of Biology as well as the second overall place of UNICAMP in the PAEPE 2015 edition. She has extensive experience in teaching and managing people and coordinating laboratories as well as in the area of Biosafety Management and Radioprotection, Genetics, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, with emphasis on the development and analysis of molecular markers for application in forensics, human, animal, plant and microorganism identification. Participated in the development of markers for yeast genotyping of interest applied to the sugarcane industry, generating a patent that has been licensed and is in full use by sugarcane mills. He is part of the laboratory's coordination team in developing technologies to mitigate problems for both first generation and emerging technologies such as 2G ethanol and other lines of research in biotechnology.
