Associate Professor of Institute of Physics at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He has undergraduate, master's and doctorate in physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (1996, 1998, 2002). A post-doctoral internship in physics at the Federal University of São Carlos (2002-2004), Ohio University (2004-2006) and Federal University of Minas Gerais (2006-2007). He was a researcher at the Technical University of Munich, and a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2007-2009). Is the director of Institute of Physics at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2017- ). Has experience in the area of Physics, with emphasis on Condensed Matter Physics, acting on the following topics: optical and transport properties in semiconductors, quantum information, spintronics, quantum electrodynamics cavity and interaction radiation field in semiconductors.
