Full Professor of the Analytical Chemistry Department at Federal University of Ceara. Graduated in Bachelor of Chemistry at Federal University of São Carlos (1995), Master's degree in Chemistry at Federal University of São Carlos (1998), PhD in Chemistry at Federal University of São Carlos (2002) and Post-doctorate in Analytical Chemistry at Metrology Group (Measurement Science and Standards) of the National Research Council Canada (NRC) in Ottawa (2014). Since 2004 she has been an effective professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), in the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. The researcher has experience in Analytical Chemistry, with emphasis on Metrology, Optical Methods of Analysis, sample treatment and Chemometrics. Nowadays, she develops work with experimental planning and data processing in Environmental Chemistry (water and sediment analysis), biofuels (biodiesel, alcohol), drugs, food and metal alloys. The main research is in development and studies using systems for digestion and solubilization of samples, as well as alternative systems for introducing samples with and without pre-concentration, aiming to improve the detection limits for determining trace elements and ultra-traces by optical methods of analysis (FAAS, WCAAS , ICP-OES, ICP-MS). The researcher actively participates in the Graduate Programs in Chemistry (PPG Química) and the Master in Science and Mathematics Teaching (ENCIMA - UFC). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
