Marcela Mohallem Oliveira holds a degree in Chemistry from University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1997), a Master degree in Chemistry from University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2000) and a PhD in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná - UFPR (2005). She is currently a professor at the Academic Department of Chemistry and Biology - DAQBi, at Federal Technological University of Paraná - UTFPR. She has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Chemistry of Nanomaterials, working mainly on the following topics: synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials composed of metallic nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, conductive polymers and their nanocomposites, dispersed in different solvents as well as deposited in suitable substrates for their application in electro-optical devices. As characterization technique, it has been working with focus on transmission electron microscopy, in low and high resolution modes (TEM and HRTEM). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
