He was Director of the Campus of Laranjeiras of UFS (2012-2021) and the Museum of Archaeology of Xingó /MAX-UFS (2013-2020); President of the Brazilian Archaeology Society (management 2011-2013) and author of the Books "Archaeology under water" (E. Maranta, 2002); Underwater Archaeology in Cananéia (Ed. Prismas, 2016); and The Planet Orange Ball (Infographic, 2023). Specialist in Underwater Archaeology / Nautical / Maritime Underwater Cultural Heritage Management; Historical Archaeology; Public Archaeology; Slaver Ship Archaeology / Researcher at Network Slave Wrecks Project (George Washington University / NMAAHC Smithsonian); and heritage education.
