I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1993) and in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of Espírito Santo (1989), Master (1996) and PhD (2002) in Ecology from the State University of Campinas. On sabbatical at The New York Botanical Garden, USA, with Fabián Michelangelli (2007), at the University of Maryland, USA, with William Fagan (2013), and at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (2023), with Catherine Graham. I am currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraná, advisor at the Graduate Program in Ecology and Conservation and Graduate Program in Botany, and member of the management committee of the Brazilian Network of Plant-Pollinator Interactions (REBIPP) and Deputy Coordinator of Professional Programs in Biodiversity Area, CAPES from 2024. Deputy Coordinator of Academic Programs in Biodiversity Area, CAPES from 2019 to 2022; secretary of the Brazilian Association of Ecological Science and Conservation (ABECO) from 2016 to 2021. I have been working in the area of reproductive biology, with an emphasis on pollination ecology. Currently, my studies are focused on the structure of interaction networks and community organization patterns in the Atlantic Forest.
