Adriana Machado Saldiba de Lima has a degree in Nutrition from USP and a PhD in Sciences from the Endocrinology program at USP's School of Medicine. She was a postdoctoral fellow (FAPESP) and developed her project at the Lipid Laboratory (LIM-10) of the USP School of Medicine and at the Diabetes Research Program of New York University, Langone Medical Center, New York, USA. She studies the chronic and degenerative diseases of aging, emphasizing nutritional aspects and the formation of advanced glycation products. She is currently the coordinator and permanent professor of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Aging Sciences at the São Judas Tadeu University and coordinator of the CAPES Network of Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programs on Aging (REPRINTE).
