Ronaldo Savarino Levenhagen

Associate Professor level 4 at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). He has experience in the areas of Stellar Astrophysics, Astrostatistics and Radiative Transport. CNPq Researcher from 2009 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2015. He is a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Physics at Unifesp - Diadema campus. Member of the International Astronomical Union (IAU). Collaborator of the Massive Stars Group at the University of Valparaíso (Chile). He is a member of the Postgraduate Committee (CPG) of the Postgraduate Program in Physics at Unifesp, Diadema campus. Representative of the category of Associate professors in the Diadema Campus Congregation. Member of the Diadema campus Infrastructure Committee. Member of the working group for the reconstruction of the Diadema campus site. Coordinator of the undergraduate subjects of Experimental Physics and Astronomy Teaching classes at Unifesp. He was Deputy Head of the Physics Department in the 2017/2020 administration. He is interested in the following research topics: LTE / NLTE spectral synthesis in O, B, A stars. Spectral synthesis in white dwarfs and sub-dwarfs. Spectral synthesis in stars with high rotation rates taking into account gravitaty darkening and nonlinear limb-darkening. Synthetic photometry of stars with high rotation rates. Determination of chemical abundances in stars with high rotation rates. Convective processes in stellar atmospheres.
