Full Professor at the Department of Linguistics of the Institute of Language Studies - University of Campinas, working in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She has teaching and research experience in the area of Linguistics, with emphasis on the specialties of Enunciation Semantics, Discourse Analysis and History of Linguistic Ideas. She is an associate researcher at the Laboratory on Urban Studies (LABEURB), NUDECRI / UNICAMP and participates in the teaching staff of the Multidisciplinary Master in Scientific and Cultural Journalism, IEL / LABJOR, UNICAMP. She is an associate researcher at the laboratory PLEIADE-Université de Paris 13. She has participated in State and Municipal Teacher's Training Programms in Portuguese Language and has coordinated virtual environments for distance education programms, extension courses and undergraduate courses. She has experience in producing multimedia teaching material and is editor of the blog # LINGUÍSTICA and of the social networks associated with it, which are intended to widely disseminate Linguistics for non-expert public. She leads scientific exchange projects with universities in Latin America (Argentina, Mexico) and Europe (France). Her research addresses the issues of enunciation and subjectivation processes in discourse, in particular related to gender, language policy and argumentation issues. She has worked in the fields of urban knowledge and language, political and legal discourse and scientific dissemination. She was Visiting Scholar at many institutions in the world, including: Universidad Autónoma de Xochimilco (Mexico), Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Nacional de Rosario and Universidad Nacional de Misiones (Argentina), Université de Paris 13-Villetaneuse (France), University of Montana (United States).
