bachelor's at Bacharel em Matemática from Universidade de São Paulo (1995), master's at Computer Science from Universidade de São Paulo (1997) and doctorate at Electric Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001). Has experience in Production Engineering, focusing on Planning, Project and Control of Systems of Production, acting on the following subjects: planejamento da producao, atividades complementares, corte de estoque, qualidade no ensino and dimensionamento de lotes.working mostly on two research areas: Optimization and Operations Strategy. The first one includes the resolution of optimization problems as, production planning, routing/transportation, cutting stock, assignment problems, among others, and, the second area emphasizes the productivity and efficiency analysis in operations and in non-profit sectors, including education and healthcare systems.
