Luciana Mitkiewicz de Souza

Founder of Bonecas Quebradas Artistic Productions (http://www.bonecasquebradas.com.br), She used to be a professor at Estácio de Sá University, in Rio de Janeiro. BA in Performing Arts from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp/ 2003), Master in Theater from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio/ 2007) and PhD in Performing Arts from Unicamp (Unicamp/ 2018), she is a producer, project director and actor at Bonecas Quebradas Teatro and researchs the theme of the actor's Imagination in collaborative processes of creation in theater. She also has experience in the area of Performing Arts, with an emphasis on themes, such as cultural production, theater history, collaborative processes of creation, acting and dramaturgy. In the Bonecas Quebradas Produções Artísticas, created and developed various cultural projects in feminist theatre, among them: O Chá (2007-2008), As Polacas - Flores do Lodo (2011-2013), Bonecas Quebradas (2014-2016), Dismantling Broken Bonecas (2017-2019) and Memories of a Manicure (2023). She has received some prizes, such as Rumos Itaú Cultural award, in 2014, FUNARTE Teatro/ Myriam Muniz (2012) and being sponsored by various institutions and corporations, such as SESC, SESI, CCBB, Ourocap and Eletrobras S.A. She performed in many states and cities of Brazil, and abroad, in cities as London, Naples, Rende and Rome. She used to be a National Manager in the courses of History, Geography, Language and Literature Studies, besides Theatre, in Yduqs (maintainer of UNESA, among other educational institutions), and has worked as evaluator of cultural projects inscribed in Rouanet Law (MinC/ Funarte/ Brazil) and in the Art and Culture Incentive Award of FCP (Pará/ Brazil).
