Professor and researcher of the Postgraduate Program in Media and Everyday Life, which she coordinated from 2015 to 2019. Professor of the Department of Social Communication at the Fluminense Federal University, she was also Coordinator of the Area of #8203;#8203;Applied Social Sciences in 2018 and 2019 and member of the Multidisciplinary Committee of PROPPI-UFF from 2016 to 2019. Post-doctorate in Study of Communication Practices and Cultures from PUCRS. Together with Renata Rezende, she is the leader of the MULTIS Research Group - Center for Studies and Experiments in Audiovisual and Multimedia, certified by CNPq. She has been the editor of the Journal Mídia e Cotidiano since 2019. Graduated in Social Communication - Journalism, Master in Multimedia (Unicamp) and PhD in Latin American Integration (PROLAM/USP). She researches non-fiction audiovisual in Brazil and Latin America (especially documentaries and television productions) and new audiovisual narratives in the context of the Internet (new formats and genres), as well as the relationship between audiovisual and science.She is the author of several articles and book chapters and the books "Biographical Documentary: Recreating a Life on Screen". and "Youth Suicide in the Media: Irreversible Pain on Screen". She has also organized several collections, including "Media Scientific Dissemination" and "Media Protagonism and Pandemic - Crossing Ruins: Reenchanting the World" (with R. Rezende); "Emotions and Media Reasons" (with R. Rezende; C. F. Gutfriend); "Media and Everyday Life in Basic Education - Perspectives on Media Literacy" (with A. Farbiarz and W. Alves); "Audiovisual and Latin America: comparative studies" (with E. Altman, M. Prioste and M. de Bragança). She was a professor at Anhembi-Morumbi University, UNIP, ESAMC and PUC-Campinas and has over 15 years of professional experience as a journalist. She is also a poet and author of the book "Encontros - quase poesia" and the children's book "O Gato da Clara", illustrated by Pérola Amaral. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
