Doctor of Chemistry, with the thesis "Synthesis, study of thermal and electrochemical behavior and reactivity of complex copper (II) pseudohalides" from São Paulo State Univesity (Unesp), Institute of Chemistry, Araraquara (1996); and Bachelor of Chemistry with the scientific monograph "Preparation and characterization of silica obtained from zirconite" from the same instituition (1990). I completed two post doctoral from Unesp: "Supported vanadium catalysts obtained by sol-gel process in the oxidation of methanol and methane to methyl formate", Institute of Biosciences, Botucatu (2000-2002), and "Production of nanoparticulated materials for processes based in immunocytochemistry", Institute of Chemistry, Araraquara (2009-2011).
