I hold bachelor's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1985), a Master's degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute of Space Research (1989), a PhD in Space Information, at POLI_USP, with a sandwich PhD from the University of New South Wales (1995) ). She completed her postdoctoral training at Indiana University, during 2007-2008. Currently, she is an associate professor at the University of Vale do Paraíba. He has experience in Urban and Regional Planning, with emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning, working mainly in the following subjects: urban space, urban planning, geotechnologies, environmental degradation and urban growth. For more than 10 years, she has worked with the study of small towns of the Amazon River Delta. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
