Abstract

The Federal Constitution of 1988 discusses the fundamental rights of the population, including education, health, food, work, housing, security, protection of motherhood and childhood, and assistance to the helpless. In urban areas of the Amazon, it can be said that these rights have not been provided to them. Residents of the small town of Afuá, located on the island of Marajó, are in a situation of social vulnerability, without access to basic sanitation. In this sense, this project aims to identify, through in locus data collection, data on the population's access to water supply and the end of urban sewage, from the small city of Afuá, Pará, to assess the social vulnerability of this population.
