Full Professor of the Institute of Economics of State University of Campinas, and was President of the Brazilian Association of Labour Studies - ABET. Graduated in Economic Science in the Unicamp (1980); Master (1986) and Phd (1990) in Economic Science in the same University (1986); post-doctorate in Economic Science by the University of Paris XII; and Habilitation in Labor and Social Economics by Unicamp (1997). Researcher in the areas of Social and Labour Economics and Growth, Planning and Economic Fluctuations. Activities of research focuses on the topics: social regulation, social policy, employment, labour market, unemployment, labour relations, human resources in science and technology and human resources in health. Has also participated in several academic institutions and national and international cooperation, and worked on projects on public policies in different spheres of government.
