Fabiana Curtopassi Pioker Hara

Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2001), a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the University of São Paulo (2005), and a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of São Paulo (2011). Has experience in the areas of Zoology and Ecology, with an emphasis on the biology and ecology of stingless bees, as well as in teacher training and the development of accessible educational materials. Since 2010, has been an educator at the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities at the University of São Paulo, working with the Bachelor's program in Natural Sciences. Since 2018, has been involved with the Science, Culture, and Education Center at EACH-USP, developing scientific outreach activities both inside and outside the university. She has been a full advisor for the Graduate Program in Science Education and Earth Sciences History at UNICAMP since 2014. Her work primarily focuses on strengthening the relationship between universities and schools, through mandatory teaching internships and the development of studies and teaching materials related to science education."
